Forest Bathing

Some years back, an old friend shared about the wonders of forest bathing.  Well, it seems that I've been doing that for a long time.

Just never called it forest bathing.

Being mindful with Nature, being in touch with sights, smells, sounds, and touch of Nature has been part of me since childhood.

But the reminder to be conscious of every step, sound, smell, sight, and touch helps to bring one back to being part of the greater universe.

Go back to Nature but with a more conscious mind.  And be aware of all around.

A toucan, strange looking with with excessively large beak.

Yet beautiful in many ways.

How often do we judge others merely by the way they look?

How often do we judge ourselves?

Soar

I soar in the wind.  Free from worries.  Free from cares.  It is not the wind that bears me.  It is me, riding on the thermal currents.  I make flight happen; not the wind.

I am the master of my destiny.  Not the wind, not the sun, not the elements.

I have been created to rule the skies.

And so I do.

Others will emulate me; and try to fly like me.  But they are merely imitators and they will never be me.

When I soar, I become an inspiration for others.  I will shine.  Not just for them, but for myself as well.
